Probably the most frequently used entrance to Steinbergkogel Lodge is via the garage in the basement. All four chalets share the garage with a total of 12 parking spaces. Three underground car parking spaces are allocated to the Steinbergkogel Lodge. The entrances to the individual chalets are located in the four corners of the garage. Inside Steinbergkogel Lodge a landing area provides access to the sports wardrobe and the wellness area. A separate cellar room can also be accessed directly from the garage, e.g. for storing sports equipment. The wellness area is equipped with a sauna, shower, WC and a spacious daybed. Extensive glazing to a spacious atrium brings daylight into the wellness area. On the ground floor, there are four bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest bathroom on this level. The south-east-facing master area has a spacious bathroom with a large shower and bathtub as well as a separate dressing room. Surrounding terraces allow access to the outdoors from each of the rooms. On the upper floor of the house there is a spacious, open-plan living/dining area with adjoining kitchen under a spectacular old wood-clad exposed roof truss. The various areas are arranged around the central open fireplace. The kitchen has a small "breakfast table" in front of the kitchen island with a cosy corner bench. Opposite is the spacious dining table from which you can enjoy a great view of the ski slope. The living room is glazed on three sides; covered terraces allow you to spend time outdoors regardless of the season. Radiant heaters provide pleasant warmth even in winter. For the Sonnfeld Lodges, we focussed on combining traditional with modern woodworking techniques. We found boutique manufacturers for the highest quality oak flooring. We decided to design and produce each kitchen, cabinet and bathroom furniture as custom-made pieces. We combine this wooden furniture with hand-carved natural stone, fine fabrics, handmade baskets and very selectively designer furniture.
